EVANGELION X SHINKANSEN X SEIKO COLLABORATION -  500 TYPE EVA-02 WATCH

 

To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Evangelion series and the 10th anniversary of Shinkalion, the second edition of the “Evangelion Shinkansen Watch,” created in collaboration with Japan’s leading watchmaker Seiko, is now available.

The second edition is themed around the idea: “What if the 500 TYPE EVA-02 actually existed?” The design is inspired by the newly envisioned Shinkansen 500 TYPE EVA-02.

The dial is designed to resemble the 500 TYPE EVA-02 when viewed from the front. The black of the front glass and the vivid red gradation colors evoke Evangelion Unit-02. The long nose, characteristic of the 500 series, is represented through three sub-dials connected by radiating lines reminiscent of cockpit instruments.

This is a special watch filled with the excitement of a collaboration that transcends the boundaries of the original work and celebrates this anniversary.
